Best Red for You

Yesterday, I walked into a store that was having a Final Sale, and I noticed many customers hesitating over which items to buy.

Since I’m a Spring type, I quickly spotted this red sweater in spring tones. Coincidentally, another customer had just picked it up, looked at it, and then put it back. I immediately grabbed it, tried it on, and noticed how it evened out my complexion and made my skin look radiant. I decided to buy it right then and there.

The salesperson asked if I wanted to try it on, but since it was a one-size piece, I said no. Plus, I was in a rush. From entering the store to checking out, the whole process took less than five minutes.

When I got home, I paired this spring-toned red sweater with an existing cream-white skirt. The entire outfit was in spring colors, making my complexion look vibrant even without any foundation!

I believe color analysis isn’t about limiting the colors you can choose, but about finding the shades that suit you best. For example, which red looks the most flattering, or which gray works best for you. This is especially helpful when you walk into a store and see so many beautiful items at great prices—particularly sweaters or coats that come in a variety of colors. In moments like these, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and unsure of where to start. With color analysis, you can immediately spot which color will make you shine the most.
